You wouldn't have had to give me a discount if what you told us you were selling was true.

And I did take the wood from you as I was in a position where I needed the wood, whether it was hard or soft for the coming winter.

And I've not left any nasty messages - I'm just letting people know what happened. If you're selling a batch of wood that is sold as 50% hard wood and 50% soft then that's what people should expect. Not 5% hard and 95% soft which is what I received.

Remember this is what you say on your own sales page "Please be aware – many suppliers of logs in the UK claim to be supplying all hardwood loads whilst actually supplying mixed loads - here at Bingley Log Services we deliver exactly what we say we will."

Very quick delivery, infact 2 days early. A lot more wood than I expected. Bring on the weekend to get the fire cranked up.

Just received my very first delivery of logs for my new multi fuel stove. Who should I buy logs from ?. Then remembered my stove fitters recommended Bingley Log Services. wow, logs delivered on time, lovely clean dry logs cut to the perfect size for my stove delivered by Tony, What a nice guy. Just got in from a bracing and tiring day in the garden and about to curl up in front of a roaring fire thanks to Tony, who delivered a couple of tonnes of logs yesterday! They are super-dry and a manageable size for a one-door log burner. He was very accommodating - even going away and coming back when I hadn't managed to get rid of some garden clearance people in time for his arrival.

I did wait 15 minutes while you decided if you and your friend who was sharing with you decided if you wanted the logs I had not tipped them off at this stage and I was ready to take them away .You said you wanted them after keeping me waiting 15 minutes why an earth did you say you wanted them ?
All my other customers have been delighted with the wood.
I did give you a a very good discounted price at a loss to myself .When I left I assumed you were happy as in my eyes you had a good deal . And I never pull the wool over anyone's eyes.Then you start to leave nasty messages about me .

Just took a delivery on time from Tony which as the website promised should have been a 50% mixture of hardwood and softwood. (This was the reason I chose Bingley Logs)

Unfortunately Tony only brought softwood and tried to pull the wool over our eyes to hide the fact there was no hardwood. And I only found this out once the wood had been dumped and paid for.

Not a good first experience with the company and I shall definitely not be using them again.

Delivery was as prompt (and early!) as promised. Tony was recommended by the company who installed our log burner and he delivered exactly what he promised in super quick time. Got loads of quality logs that will keep us going quite a while before we need to order from Tony again. Would highly recommend!

Perfect! Sunny day, a lorry load of good logs delivered just when Tony said. A nice chat over a coffee afterwards. Now if I can just my 92 year old mother to shift the logs from the drive, all will be right with the world!
Sorry Tony, not enough room on top of our stove for an Ecofan which is a pity as it looks interesting and I like things that work for free!

mmm where do i start getting a stove at the end of the month so need some DRY logs to burn straight away so google came up with numerous log suppliers but after checking out the websites and comments nearly all very good i decided on BLS fired off an email wanting to know what the moisture content was as not stated gotta be good wood as so many of you say but am starting up so it needs to burn from the word go,all wood burns just not efficiently as dry wood so i needed my wood to be of 25-20% or lower moisture content so anyway after a conversation with the affable tony was promised that my wood was dry and that he did not bother with a moisture meter but i wanted to check the odd few logs not the whole load tony did not like this said in 30 yrs no body had questioned him and he was not going to deliver to me and argue over the moisture content :confused: after all i am only the customer am surprised and a little perplexed to say the least was his wood not dry, for 240 pounds i would hope to tony that it was and there lies another question it says on the site £200 for 3.5 m3 + del so was i getting charged 40 quid to drive 4.2 miles , i know there are a lot of happy customers who are happy but i dont think i was being unreasonable to dare to ask to check what i was getting only fair. so fair to say he told me in to find another supplier as i was not to be allowed to check what i was paying for , mmmm good lad tony just dont mention you have a moisture meter :D

Hi - I can't deny that the quantity of logs that gets delivered is huge... However the logs are not dry. Even after splitting a number of these logs into much smaller pieces combustion wass still a problem, they are not just wet on the outside. I will probably have to purchase a load of dry logs from another supplier whilst these logs dry out. A secondary problem but not as much is the sheer uneven size of the logs which makes stacking problematic. Tony is indeed a character and it was enjoyable chatting, but I have to say I am a little disappointed. Maybe for the price I should have had lower expectations. Sorry Tony.

Just got my second load of logs for the winter from Tony today. As ever, the logs are great and I have to say that a visit from Tony is an absolute pleasure, as we have a laugh and put the world to rights!!
Anyone reading who is a first time log buyer, don't bother looking anywhere else - Tony is a fantastic guy who cares about his customers!!!

Had my first load of logs delivered today. Tony arrived when he said he would so the kettle hadn't boiled properly. The logs are good quality and should last me a while. Tony was extemely helpful with some concerns I had about my stove. Spent the morning stacking away the logs and found they were excellent, slept soundly this afternoon. Tony thank you I shall be recommending you to others with stoves and will be ringing you again. :-)

Just received my first load of logs.

Delivered bang on time the day after phoning to place an order.

Not burned any yet, but look like decent quality dry wood and a good amount. All now stacked up and waiting for the colder weather to start. Should keep me going for a while.

I have now had 2 deliveries of logs for my stove from Bingley Logs. The service has been prompt, efficient and accommodating. Tony will deliver when you are at work, just tell him where you want the logs off loading. The logs are a mixture of hard and soft wood and the delivered load is big enough to last quite a while. The logs burn well. I am very happy with the service Tony provides

Went on-line to find a competitive price and prompt delivery for good quality logs. The best deal available was from Bingley Logs. I knew that if I lived in Bingley long enough I'd eventually find the reason why!

Just had our third load of logs from Tony in as many years - they all seem to work properly!

Two loads of logs delivered today at agreed time. As usual clean logs cut to length and split. Have bought off Tony for quite a few years now and always get service with banter. Used Tony as an example of good customer service with my two kids who are at college studying marketing!

Only a handfull of debris left on the drive after stacking ,previous suppliers left a dustbinfull of moss,muck and stuff.
